  • Chair and Founder

    Charlotte is an advocate for driving change and championing equal opportunities for all children in school. 

    She is a strong supporter of early intervention and is the founder of 1 in 10 Dyslexia. Additionally, she serves as the Director of Noble Restaurants, including Ochre and Muriel’s Kitchen. Born and raised in Newcastle upon Tyne, Charlotte now lives in London with her husband, Sam Miller, and their three daughters.

    In her own words, Charlotte shares, "Dyslexia has impacted my life in numerous ways. Despite the challenges I faced in school, I am grateful for my puzzle-loving, creative brain that enables lateral thinking. 

    I understand firsthand that no two people with dyslexia are the same, and now, of course, it affects all three of my daughters; all suffering from mild to severe. I am committed to proactively supporting all kids in the UK suffering from dyslexia and receiving a diagnosis to create an even playing field and helping these geniuses fulfill their career dreams.

    Helen is a Special Educational Needs specialist and Dyslexia expert with experience working in both the independent and public education sectors. She is a former teacher/SENDCo and after spending over 10 years in school settings, has moved on to becoming a researcher and specialist tutor.

    Helen has spoken on many guest panels and conferences including sharing insight at the All-Party Parliamentary Group in 2022 alongside having her work published in various peer-reviewed and guest publications. Helen will consult on methodologies, data analysis and project findings.

    Sophie is passionate about a holistic and a long-term approach to making a positive change for dyslexia.

    She is innovative and strategic, having successfully worked with global commercial brands across the board. Herdedication, creativity, and strategic thinking are crucial attributes to make a change.

    She's a tenacious and an enthusiastic communicator, with a proven efficiency at managing networks with strong interpersonal skills; always maintaining focus on the people truly affected at the centre of the cause.

    A renowned author, trainer, and consultant. With over 25 years of experience in both special and mainstream education, Dr. Moseley brings a wealth of expertise and a deep passion for empowering learners, particularly those with neurodiverse needs.

  • I’m such a believer that seeing the world differently is a super power. From entrepreneurs through to creatives, if we can inject a confidence in kids with dyslexia from an early age, we are feeding the pipeline of our future. The world continues to present us with new types of problems. Linear thinking will only take us so far. I’m a big believer those who think non-linearly will enrich our future. How dangerous would it be if only those who can afford it, can channel that ability?

  • I had the privilege of being diagnosed when i was 9 and it changed my life. The school i was in didn't have the resources to to teach children like me and asked my parents to pull me out.
