Make a Difference

Please support us in making a change for Dyslexic children in the UK.

Unfortunately, many primary schools lack the necessary resources to provide specialised teaching for dyslexic students, leading to academic and emotional setbacks for these children.

Research indicates that 80% of children leave school undiagnosed, mistakenly believing they lag behind their peers, while 1 in 5 children struggle with mental health issues.

Additionally, 75% of schools report having no access to specialist dyslexia teachers.

After consultations with various stakeholders, including schools, boroughs, UCL lecturers, SENCOs, dyslexia charities, education psychologists, child counsellors, and children themselves, it has been determined that urgent action is needed.

We need your help

To raise the funds to pilot in 5 to primary schools.

We will be training a teacher in each school to a Level 5 accreditation to provide tailored support and interventions for children with reading, spelling, and math difficulties, as well as to mentor and assist other teachers.

Moreover, a comprehensive impact measurement framework will be implemented to assess the effectiveness of these interventions. The data collected will be utilised to advocate for urgent governmental action to address this critical issue.

By implementing these measures, we aim to ensure that all dyslexic students receive the support they need to thrive academically and emotionally.

Thank you for all your support.
