At 1 in 10 Dyslexia, our mission is to create a level playing field for every child in the UK. We believe in early diagnosis, timely intervention, and practical training that equips teachers to support dyslexic learners in real classrooms.
Dyslexia is a lifelong neurological difference that affects reading, writing, and spelling. It impacts 1 in 10 children in our schools, yet 80% leave without a formal diagnosis, missing out on the support they need.

Our
School Piolt
Our current pilot programme is focused on mainstream primary schools, where most children with dyslexia are taught.
Instead of waiting for specialists that never arrived after the 2009 recommendations, we are taking action. Our solution is Making the Invisible Visible a free, evidence-based training course that gives teachers and teaching assistants the tools to identify and support dyslexic learners.
It’s short, practical, and designed to fit into school life. Our ambition is clear:
