๐ŸŽฌ Through Their Eyes: A Calling for Brilliant Young Voices

At 1 in 10 Dyslexia, we believe the most powerful way to help teachers truly understand dyslexia is to listen to children themselves.

We are creating a short film called Through Their Eyes to show what school really feels like for children with dyslexia, told in their own words.

Weโ€™re looking for children aged 6โ€“11 who would like to share their experiences on camera, the little moments that make learning harder and the ones that make them shine. It might be how it feels to copy from the board or to sight-read in singing class, or how dyslexia shows up in family life and friendships.

Their stories will help shape understanding in classrooms across the UK. The film will become part of our free national teacher-training course, Making the Invisible Visible, which helps educators create more inclusive and supportive learning environments.

If you think your child might like to take part, or you know someone who would, we would love to hear from you by October 23rd.
